My artwork is my passion. I am so grateful for my artistic talent. I see it as a Divine gift and a blessing to keep me sane and happy. I know that I will never be bored in this lifetime or at a loss for something to do. I can always sit down in a quiet place and create what I see in Nature.
I love going for walks with my sketchbook and camera to catch the light in the moment at different times of the day. In my paintings of landscapes, I go for the drama where sunlight plays on fields, trees, animals and structures. Color is a joy to my eyes, and I love working with the pairs of compliments striving to achieve excitement in neutrals and backgrounds.
Flowers as a challenging subject matter have always intrigued me for their beautiful and vibrant colors, yet delicate form.
I love working in Pastels for their rich and tactile quality and Watercolors for their fluid spontaneity. I receive great pleasure in sharing what I treasure so dearly by teaching, offering my talent as a gift to my student
