Rangolis

Rangoli is one of the most popular art forms in India. It is a form of sand painting that uses finely ground colorful powders commonly used outside the home. Rangolis also l have a religious signifiance, enhancing the beauty of the surroundings and spreading joy and happiness all around Usually symmetrical in design and bright in color, Rangolis are created in the early morning hours to welcome the sun. While in India for a year and a half and in New York ashram for several years, Ginny created these rangoli designs.
