Inspired by my profound love for the outdoors and the freedom it represents, each piece in this collection captures the intricate beauty and boundless possibilities in the natural world.

Rooted in Nature

As a part of my internship with Clara Williams, I was tasked with creating a jewelry collection inspired by the beauty of nature. The Botanica Collection seamlessly integrates with Clara Williams’ iconic ClaraClasp and Mini ClaraClasp, featuring versatile designs including necklaces, pendants, mini necklaces, mini pendants, charms, bracelets, and drops. This project challenged me to design and manufacture a cohesive collection that embodies elegance while celebrating the organic forms of nature.

Inspiration

I drew inspiration from the organic symmetry found in nature, focusing on the delicate beauty of leaves and vine-like patterns.
Sketching

I began sketching various designs, experimenting with leaf shapes and intricate details to refine the perfect form.
3D Modeling

Using Rhinoceros 3D software, I translated my sketches into digital renderings, ensuring the designs maintained their proportions and elegance when extruded.
Prototyping

I utilized a 3D printer to create prototypes, testing different hole placements, thicknesses, and proportions for optimal durability and lightness
Iteration

Through multiple iterations, I fine-tuned the design until it met both functional and aesthetic standards.
Integration

The finalized leaves were seamlessly incorporated into jewelry pieces enhancing their timeless connection to nature and complementing Clara Williams’ collections.

The Mini Leaf

Two Designs, One Collection

I wanted the entire collection to revolve around two leaf designs. The signature leaf is featured in the Signature Necklace, Charms, and the Signature Centerpiece, while the mini leaf is used for the Mini Necklace, Mini Pendant, and Drops. This streamlined approach reduces production costs and simplifies manufacturing, with only two raw part numbers needed for efficient production.
